1944 Johnny Blood NFL All-Time Team

 LOOKING BACK
By Chris Willis, NFL Films
Johnny "Blood" McNally, Packers

Today PFJ looks at the NFL All-Time Team from Johnny "Blood" McNally. In 1944 McNally was asked to list his all-time team. He praised Don Hutson, so much that he listed 3 ends on his team.

One of his biggest surprise was that he selected Father Lumpkin as his blocking back (or quarterback spot). McNally choose:

Ends- Don Hutson, Bill Hewitt, Brick Mueller

Tackles- Cal Hubbard, Pete "Fats" Henry

Guards- Mike Michalske, Dan Fortmann

Center- Mel Hein

Quarterback-Blocking Back- Father Lumpkin

Halfbacks- Dutch Clark (LHB), Sammy Baugh (RHB)

Fullback- Bronko Nagurski
