ReplyDeleteThanks John, hope everything works out.
Stafford was also first choice with PFF.
Robinson and Gibbs are the league's most spectacular runners but I felt Cook and Taylor were more valuable to their team's success. Taylor tapered off, but losing his QB didnt help. McCaffery was a good choice though. He carried the team during Purdy's absence.
McBride makes sense, increasing his TD numbers without Murray but 2nd team is hard to call. Pitts surged at the end but hardly did anything till Cousins took over. PFF chose Kittle but he missed too many games in my view. I think Henry in NE gets the nod, being on one of the NFL's best offenses.
Had Adams not missed games, could have easily made the wideout list.
On defense, I can understand Anderson but Hunter and Hutchinson were excellent as well. Just alot of good pass rushers, including Turner, who I would choose over Heyward.
PFF did not choose Dike, but I did. A bright spot on a terrible team year.
Running back was tough, I lean to running/receivers ... but if someone wanted Cook or Taylor, etc ... it is easy to defend. Henry vs Cook on2nd team All-AFC very tough, and not sure I was right.
DeleteAd yes ... Kitte, Lane Johnson, Wirfs all missed too much time ...

As far asHeyward, I wish I could have explained -- Brown and Heyward were 4i/5 techs ... more often over a tackle in base defense, Williams and Simmins were more or less the3-techs, so Kobie lost out to them as the "rush" tackle.
I pick one "DE" and one "DT" and one "NT" but that does not mean that is the right way, these days it is harder to separate... but it's the way I like to do it.

DeleteNo sweat, John ...
I didnt see alot of these players enough and respect your opinion. I wasnt sure for the alignment of the Seahawks, I thought Murphy was more a tackle than nose but Jarran Reed must have been situational or hurt more? What were your thoughts on Poona Ford at nose for the Rams, did he stand out to you?
I hope things are good with your family. Losing a parent is hard. Been there.
