Cowboys Hand Rams Second Brutal Loss in a Month

PERSPECTIVE
By John Turney

Four weeks ago the Ravens handed the Rams a 45-6 loss, one in which the Rams ran for 22 yards and allowed 285 yards rushing—a net difference of 263 yards, the wost net negative in franchise history (since 1940).
Yesterday in a 44-15 loss it was a net difference of 241 yards, rushing for 22 yards and allowing 263 yards.

What is odd it that for 12 games the Rams have been good versus the run, far better than the last couple of years. But, and it's a big 'but' the two games over 260 yards take the yards allowed per game from 89.3 to 115.6. So, it's quite the anomaly, are they good versus the run (12 games) or awful (Ravens and Cowboys games)?
