Travis Kelce—Four Touchdown Receptions for Only 25 Yards?

In tonight's Monday Night Football match in Arrowhead stadium, Travis Kelce set the franchise record for touchdown receptions by a tight end with four.

The Chiefs won 30-29 over the Las Vegas Raiders in an entertaining game and Kelce's achievement was almost as interesting. He totaled only 25 yards receiving in scoring those touchdowns.

Twenty-five.

As per Stathead, Pro Football Reference's statistic search engine that is the fewest yards in a game by a receiver while also catching at least four touchdown passes.

Not only did Kelce set that record he beat it by 68 yards. Lions receiver Marvin Jones caught four touchdown passes while gaining 93 yards in a game versus the Vikings in 2019.

Kelce's final line was seven receptions, 25 yards, and four touchdowns with a 3.6 yards per reception average. He was quite efficient in the touchdown catches/yards receiving ratio. While there is not such a stat, nor should there be it was also quite the oddity.

The list—
