Last year we got a few right but missed on the coach, the rookies and the Most Improved. Oh well, that's the nature of the beast.
To be honest we probably won't get the MVP, OPOY and DPOY right like we did last year but here is this year's effort—
MVP—Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals (what fun is it to Pick Mahomes two years in a row?)
Offensive Player of the Year—Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers
Defensive Player of the Year—Micah Parsons, Dallas Cowboys
Coach of the Year—Robert Saleh, New York Jets
Comeback Player of the Year—Damar Hamlin, Buffalo Bills
Offensive Rookie of the Year—Anthony Richardson, Indianapolis Colts
Defensive Rookie of the Year—Jalen Carter, Philadelphia Eagles
Most Improved Player (PFWA)—Cam Akers, Los Angeles Rams

DeleteI goofed on Vrabel. Could have a great coaching season but if the Bills and Allen win it all, which I predict, McDermott might get the award and save his job, though its frustrated fans, rather than ownership, that puts him on the hotseat.
I would love to put Cowboys rookie Deuce Vaughn at OROY but the Cowboys have to be smart at utilizing his skills and touches, despite small size. If he can stay healthy, another Darren Sproles, I believe.
Well Burrow has been hurt, so he's out of the running. Richardson is going to miss the rest of the season. He's out. Wrong on Akers.
DeleteNot looking good for my picks with just three exceptions -- Three with a chance are CMC, Parsons and Jalen Carter.
