  1. Micah Parsons? He didn't get as many AP all-pro votes as others. Why him?

    1. You are right. And I may miss on him. Garrett stong possibility. I am counting on Garrett's late-season leveling off as a factor. But ... that may be something or nothing. Watt will be right there, too.

It's fun to try and guess especially when it's going to be tight.

  2. Given that he broke the Pick 6 record, What are Da’Ron Bland’s chances of winning DPOY?

    1. No chance. He will get a few voters perhaps.

    2. BW ...

What were your thoughts on this weekends defenses, John?

What happened with Dallas, Pittsburgh and Cleveland? Their defenses didnt show up. Flat, out coached/executed, or took their opponents for granted?

Flacco had the bad pick sixes, but played well otherwise but faced a 24-14 deficit. Tomlin has now lost five postseason games in a row, with the defense giving up over 35 per game.
Dallas shut down the other receivers but had no answer for Doubs?

  3. Definitely not Hamlin for comeback player. Great story (and I'm from Buffalo)... but he only played special teams this year sporadically (I think) Flacco would get my vote. Even though he only played a partial season.

  4. BW ...

Stroud is really poised, I couldnt believe how easily he threw the ball through the Brown's secondary. When a rookie has a 26/5 ratio in TDs to Ints, he is easily ROTY. His season is very similar to Dak Prescott's rookie year in 2016, can Stroud find a way in Baltimore?

  5. I think there should be two Comeback Player of the Year awards: one for returning from injury/illness, and the other for returning to performance on the field. I agree that Joe Flacco is more deserving that Hamlin's based on production.
