Shout Out to Ron Borges and the Talk of Fame Network

Duke Slater was the most honored African-American football player of the NFL's first decade and one of the most consistently decorated players during that time, regardless of race.

Today, writer and Hall of Fame voter Ron Borges wrote an excellent, lengthy piece reviewing Slater's career. Hopefully it will raise awareness of Slater's accomplishments and give Slater some push to be a senior nominee for the Hall of Fame in the near future.
