For some reason—we don't know why—but usually, John Hadl started hot and then tailed off at the end of most seasons.
His W-L record for the first half of the season averages out to about an 8-6 for 14 games, give or take. For the second half of seasons, it is just under .500. He threw for about the same number of touchdowns but he threw a lot more picks in the second half.
It's just odd it went on more most seasons in his career.
