The New York Post's All-Time NFL Team (1942)
LOOKING BACK

On December 12, 1942, the New York Post chose its own All-Time Team. All the names are familiar to most fans, even recent fans with a casual interest in NFL history. The one exception to that is quarterback Ernie Pinckert. Pinckert was a wing-back/quarterback for the Redskins in the1930s. He was a two-time Pro Bowler but was never All-Pro. He was essentially the "blocking back" on this squad.
