Last Sunday
Jamal Adams recorded three sacks against the Redskins, which is the second-most ever in a single game by a defensive back.
TJ Troup posted about the most-ever which was
George Saimes's four-sack performance in the Bills second-to-last game in 1964.
Official, of course, sacks began being kept in 1982.

Larry Wilson was not the first player to rush the passer on a safety blitz, but it's fair to say he popularized it. He had years with four or five sacks, but the most in one game he had was two.
Saimes, in our research, is the single-game leader for a defensive back. In addition to his four sacks, that game Saimes blocked a PAT and deflected two passes—It was quite a productive day for Saimes.
