Bears Throwback to 1936

On June 7, 2019, the Chicago Bears unveiled the uniforms they have selected to wear to celebrate their 100th Anniversary. They will be the 1936 uniforms with two sets of stripes on the sleeves.

I first saw this uniform in the back of the book the NFL published to commemorate its 50th Anniversary, in a section that chronicled the evolution of the NFL uniform in a series of full page paintings of some of the game's best players over the decades. I look forward to see these throwback uniforms on the field this season.
